Amaris Gibson, MA, LPC-A,

IMH-E® Infant Family Specialist and Reflective Supervisor
Founder & Therapist

Can I take a moment to introduce myself?

My name is Amaris.

I am a relationship enthusiast.

I believe in the power of connection. I believe it heals us. Humans need to be connected to other humans. We are built to have relationships- connection and community with others. It's how we become our best selves. But oh how relationships can get messy. Truthfully, relationships have been difficult since the very beginning. Yes, all of them: parent- child relationships, marriages, friendships and even our relationship with ourselves. The evidence lies in generations of trauma and dysfunction. If we're honest, none of us have escaped some damage in relationships. Yet, there's is a more excellent way...

This is why I founded Queendom Come Coaching, LLC. I wanted to create a place where we could heal from intergenerational trauma and learn to have healthy connections-the way it was intended.

Healthy relationships are possible

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate and endorsed as an Infant Family Specialist and Reflective Supervisor. I am trained in multiple evidence-based interventions that support relational, social and emotional wellness for both young children and adults.

As a relationship focused therapist, I have a deep passion for supporting relational health, beginning even as early as the prenatal period. As an infant and early childhood mental health(IECMH) and perinatal mental health professional, I have an understanding of family dynamics and relationship building at an individual & family level. Our families are our first experience with relationships. If we can prioritize early relational health, we can create generational patterns of healing and wholeness.

That's why I also focus on the relationships between partners. As a marriage therapist,  I share tools to help marriages thrive and equip those preparing for marriage with the necessary resources to develop healthy marriage goals. Couples often need support to navigate the impacts of their early relationships and I'm devoted to helping.

Whether with a parent struggling to adjust with a new baby or a couple deciding to take the next step toward marriage, I use a trauma informed approach to address concerns. Our stories, experiences and culture matter- I make room for it all in the therapy session.

I have a contagious passion for educating families on mental wellness and the impacts on intergenerational trauma on children and families. I have a joy for facilitating workshops, groups and community conversations to address both individual and family concerns.
